I’m Jo

Here’s a bit about me:)

What am

I doing in

Billings?

I moved to Montana back in the winter of 2021 and completely fell in love with the state. Besides cameras, I enjoy hiking, climbing, running, and being outside. I’m currently studying accounting and economics and working towards my bachelors degree.

This is a photo of my friend Kaidyn (left) and me (right) hiking the Oregon Coast Trail in 2023. We walked 419.4 miles in 22 days to raise money for Veterans Navigation Network (VNN). This hike was called, "The Walk of Honor," and its purpose was to bring attention to veterans in our local community.

I made videos to document our travels along the way and inform viewers of the great work that VNN is doing. You can watch them here.

I started taking pictures in High School for my cross country, track, and swim teams. I haven’t put my camera down since! Photography has connected me with so many different people, perspectives, and places; everyone has a story that deserves to be shared.

My joy comes from telling stories through a lens and capturing those lifelong memories.
